My short order at 146.80 gave me 75 pips down to the sk, where I took a long this morning because the 240 chart created an Evening star, and I figured we were going back up to test it. Then when it reached the D ext again, another short has given an additional 70 pips, so over 200 so far, and I'm still short hoping the Sk will break. We will see, but I like the 60 bear candle sitting there.

The 60min support gave us a CF at the trendline to go long up to the 162%. Subsequently, when the 240 chart hit the 786 fib, along with the old cons support turned resistance, a nice 5min trade developed for 50 pips this morning.

Thx Raj.. .now have a bearish engulfing on the 1H... I have taken... keeping in mind that although we have broken the 1.27 on the up subswing from the low... we haven't hit the d (1.618).... So we could be doing a gartley... which could take us to the .86 on the middle swing.. and < 618 on the larger swing.

Kurt, good call on the gartley...hopefully you grabbed some from the 86 fib...I see the 240 bear candle there, but I'm not shorting this one unless we break the sk support

Two possible entries on the GJ...I took the last one after the bearish engulfing candle...have banked 50 at 144.75 where I see a lot of support.
And, no real reason for it, but the chart is looking like a bull crown setup, so 50 is good enough for a Friday

Well so far we're consolidating at the 139 support, but daily had closed a MS followed by some TB, so I'll be watching the 60min for any bullish signals.

The long was nicely played out from the daily support, now as we've reached the 162%, i took a scalp short trade from the 5min 86 fib for about 50 pips so far.

I have taken an aggressive bullish scalp entry based on the D ext hit on the 240 chart at 135.63. Will have to see if a real set-up materializes fo a retrace.

I had a d ext being hit on the daily...but how do you get in long without a CF? do you just put your stop below an assumed 1.18 or 1.27 or were you just being aggressive with a super tight stop?

Maestro, yes stop best below 127, scalped 48 pips here untill the market hit the 12day MA on the 15min, then short TT back down to the D ext - it ran further, but oh well. Long scalp again now at 135.30

10 hrs and 100 pips later I'm still looking for a 5m crown... we fell so far so fast how could i get in on a 15m candle... LOL... Raj you need to hold classes as to what gets us in so early :)

If we get the BuC we should still have some pips as we're just reentering the AB

Anyhow, I have limited out at the 382 res, with a subsequent short from there. If we take out the low, I'm seeing some convergence around 134.40 area...let's see what happens. But its Friday, and Im not sure if there is any news coming out, if there isn't, I don't imagine any supp/res levels will be broken.

Amazing how even the micro charts playout... last swing hit the 1.27.. currently @ the .86 on the downswing.. will be happy if we can break the high so i can trade something a bit larger than a 5m :)

GJ trade yesterday was... from the daily trade @ the opening of the Wellington session. We had decent supportand the stochs were shouting long. I didnt have the nerve to sit through NFP.. but if u did u may have gotten a few all the way to the DTL, 300+?

Long at 134.90 - why at that price you ask? Well i have no idea, can't remember what made me pull the trigger - is that an honest enough answer LOL. Maybe because it cleared the high. I'm watching this level on GJ at the moment...We've had a 240 bullish engulfing candle at the 618 support, but currently sitting at the 382 res, so I'll watch for a possible break of the 382 for a target of 135.65 and 136.00, or a CF for the short

TY sir for the heads up, been scalping the 5m both ways this am.... with a bias for the long... would have kept going. Now neutral to short.. and paying way more attention... as per ur fib level.. but keeping in mind.. we could have already hit ur RT

also not a big believer in indicators by themselves but 15m - 60m stochs.. indicate that we may be getting some down pips

Kurt, I had some chart issues this morning, and still on-going...as far as I can remember I placed take profit at 135.60 because we had SK support at 135.50. So I'm not sure what happened so far from that level...hopefully a north move. Hopefully I can get this resolved soon.

I'm watching this level - 139.20 as we are at 618 res on the 240, and also 127 res on the 60min chart. We are clearly in the buy zone, so we would need a CF definately.

From the 618 resistance the market gave a nice pennant pattern which I shorted today because of the market came back to test the underbelly of the pennant (also convergence of the downtrendline and also the 382 resistance of the latest down fib). Also could have waited for that bearish engulfing candle and gotten in at 136.78 - still would have had some decent pips.

This morning I took some nice pips based on the 60min chart reaching the D ext of its upmove, which converged with the 240 charts .50 fib level. Entry was taken on the 5min chart after the CF.

What I did for the Asian session was place a short order below the 382 fib with an initial target at the 618 support. it worked out nicely for 70 pips. The remainder of the lots I will monitor, but I have locked in 1 pip for them.

It took me a while but i see it LOL. Incredible coming from someone looking for 5m crowns... but when i switch to the 1h, I find that i still concentrate on the main swing without seeing the SK's.

Will practice more to get there... but if u can point out potential setups would appreciate gr8ly :)

Kurt, just have to be careful with this one because we're in a really big 240 potential bear crown...and we're coming up to test the 86 fib again, and this area happens to be the daily SK resistance...that's why we're just going sideways on the 240/daily for the last two weeks

So why am I going long in a bear crown situation you may ask? Well the daily has also done the 1&2 and it looks like it has found a perfect RT=LT scenario, so im playing the game of supp/res.
