Eur & Chf

Im comparing these two pairs because they are supposed to run opposite to each other....Euro is showing a lot of hesitation at the weekly 618 resistance...240 chart has an evening star so far, and lower tf's have broken the up trendline....chf daily chart has reached a "d" extension, and the 60min chart has macd bullish divergence.

Euro still bullish, last swing was a minimal risk entry at the 86 fib, running upto its "d" extension this morning, so, one more candle and we may have out next 30min swing. The weekly 618 res still holding.

Daily euro chart has hit the 127 res - i have been taken in on a short at 4710...banked at 4650 which was 382 support on the 60min...will wait for next pattern

I'm long on the eur/usd - see a crown on the 15min chart - long 4647 and going to scale out on this one with 4665 and 4680 and last lot will see :)...i'm going with 3 lots on this bad boy :) It's above the asian channel and made a swing low allready. Rob

I myself have just gone long at 1.4753 after an MS in the 240. Planning to bank half at 1.4825 (SK resistance) and let the remaining ride if everything works well.

Banked 50% at SK resistance, moved stop on balance to 1.4665.

Price made a higher high on 60, so on the look-out for a bullish crown now.

If it doesn't work out, bearish target remains at 4625 (127 supp), then the D ext at 4545

Both pairs hit their 162% targets, and now we have the new 60min swings. Will look to the fib levels...hopefully 618 levels for the bounce.

we have possible bear crowns and bull crowns on eur/chf respectively. If the market is unhappy with the current 382 bounces, and we get a CF at these levels, then perhaps we can look for gartley setups if we reach the D extensions of the counter trend moves.

Small crown set-up worked out nicely on both pairs for some pips...30min charts gave nice CF's. We're just stalled at the 127 supp/res so far, hopefully we get that Gartley trade.

Ii have gone long on euro at the 618 support, and shorted chf at the 618 res...the only thing that concerns me is the daily sto's are turning...so i will watch out for supp/res fibs on the 30min chart since that is the one we traded the crowns on.

well managed to get my lost pips back from my 618 trades, and this morning mi short and long on euro/chf from sk levels. Its been good trading for a Friday so far.

We got a signal on the 30min chart at 4846 to go long when we came to test the low, and now 240 chart has textbook tweezer bottoms, and 60min AB boundary still holding at the 86 fib. Not sure how much momentum we will see Friday afternoon, but I've found that staying on 30/15/5 min charts on a Friday is the way to go.

Euro had pulled down to the 86 fib, great entry with stop going below the "A"...will see how it plays out. We are back inside that old cons range from before, so we'll watch the previous res level at 4985 area, otherwise so far so good.

Well I had a 3738 short on this pair from yesterday where we had a possible congruence with the TL, so I hung in there and finally the market found the RT at the 86 fib, putting me in a positive position finally. Stops ideally above the "A" - good example.

Chf Daily chart last week reached its 162% D ext, and we have a bearish candle. After today we will be able to pull a new daily swing, so I wonder if bigger correction maybe in the works. Eur daily also closed with a bullish candle, so maybe same scenario there.

Interesting spot on my 15m we have taken the high fom the last chart. got in short when we scored the point... looking for possible 1&2 of 5m BeC... showed some fib fishing to see where the possible extension of a 5m beC could take us

do need to watch fib levels and support on current up ab subswing as having taken the high we could also just continue going north - havent even put in the pot 5m RT yet as we havent even done the 1&2

Got less than a 382 bounce on the 5m... but still pretty productive for a 5m trade... now we have also done the 1 & 2 on the 15m for a continued bear move...i am once again short based on potential 15m BeC... but am keeping in mind... that 1H we did make a higher high... so we could be going up @ any time

well we did say going up anytime... because we were long on the 1h... it hit the TL and boy did it go up :)

so waited for 70 speculative short as opposed to a much higher percentage> pips long from the 1h ;)

they day is coming to a close quickly... but will be watching the long term DTL for a bounce... @ that point we would've scored a point... and may be expecting some pullback

Hi Liz, yes I mentioned last week that chf 60min is in a bull crown setup...this is because of the daily uptrend line. The crown of course has not been confirmed yet. 240 chart is still bearish, and the hold up for the bulls has been the 382 fib.

On the chf chart:

It is with much regret today that I make this post. LOL

We had a beautiful gartley pattern that I was watching for some time.

The D ext of the 240 chart was converging perfectly, and I mean perfectly, to the pip, with the daily 618 support fib.

I had my order to go long at 1.0421...but the market came within 9 pips of the mark and shot up more than 100 pips within ten minutes, leaving me twiddling my fingers.

I have no more to say on this matter.

took the eur ... we hadn't hit the Daily/4H 618 and TL as discussed.. but i thought that we had... good resistance @ that level

when i also took it down to a 1H we had some interesting TT.

It has paid.. nicely but... will probably get out for the little fundy we have this am.

I know the entry was a bit aggressive... (right after the test of the TT) & if prudent should've waited on better CF, but let me know where u think a good entry would've been.. if we didnt actually get to the ideal... the 618/TL convergence.

The challenge with XAU is that it and the EUR are usually corelated... i say usually because i hope this is NOT 1 of those times... the challenge is that we have just scored a point... and in the last 7 hrs... have gone from 1122.58 to 1136.90. We are due a retrace

Well Rajmeister... i know u warned me about the weekly TB no to mention the daily tb on EUR (& less so on the GBP but)... i was already in short. When i checked in this am... the gap had skipped my stop so I was way waaaaay down...

Can't be long and short @ the same time on my platform... so desperately hoping for a test of those TB... but realistically just would like to see decent retrace on the 4h.

Any more Raj warnings i should be considering?

Kurt, yes thats quite the gap. If its any consolation, the 240 chart still has a bear swing, and ive marked off some good levels of cons there so you may be able to gain back depending on what euro does at those levels.

There was a nice convergence for the short on the daily chart earlier (I missed it) with the 618 res off the big downswing, and the D ext of the upmove. Daily candle looking bearish, so let's see if we get a high here although it will take two days minimum, and my latest swing is pre-mature.
