Hi Neal,
Ok hope Im posting correctly. The chart is attatched. So if the grey (fast line ) crosses above 60 the move up is strong you said. Is there a TF that I should look for this to play a bounce like say 30-60 min? I ask because 2-5min crosses many times when Im looking for entries.
Also, On the attached chart, I was trying to catch the swing at SK on this counter trend move off daily...but it just continued up assumingly because fast line of TRSI croissed above 60 there was an indication of strength.
I believe error was that 4hr did not give permission and I was trying to be early on 30-60min.

Thanks Again Neal!

What happens when you try to post a chart?

You have to select the time-frame that you are trading. If you are trading 2 minute charts, you will be getting in and out a lot. The brokers love that!

Thanks Again Neal, I think I got it then. I use lower TF for entries but I am guilty of trading the 2min sometimes. Any recommendations on TF to trade with TRSI?

Thanks as always, will try the chat as well. I tried starting a new thread but not sure if it took. Also I used attachment tool for chart and I thought it uploaded...Is there a page on the forum with directions on uploading a chart?

Thx
Bert

If you like the lower time-frames, try 30 min for trend, and 5 min for entries?

When uploading a chart, try using *.png format, or maybe *.jpg as an alternative.

Thanks again Neal. One last question and sorry I didnt have these thought's when I took the advanced TRSI seminar. But anyhow say on a 30min chart, if TRSI crosses above 60 and goes to overbought 75 then turns back down, does it resist again at 60?

That's it, thx!

Yes, if TRSI is approaching 60 from the under-side, it will often resist there.

Hi,

I think here is a typical example of such move on EURUSD 30min chart. Notice the two bounced back are getting weaker and finally it breaks TRSI 60. The first bounce back b1 is also at the sk1 level.

Now (at 12:30am NY Time and market @1.2860) it might resist at TRSI 40 level and heading up again during London session as both 1hr/4hr TRSI are still above 50/60 TRSI level.
