What are the risk of trading currency with Forex trading? I live in China, but wants to try trading currency with Forex. One of the operator asked me to send the money across to them in USA and start trading in minutes time. I don't know much about currency trading but they said they will offer me a course to get me started. Do I engage in this business?

You have to study how to trade before you start trading. First study before trading, or you will lose a lot of money very quickly.

You need to know what you are getting into before sending money to any broker. You cannot fly an airplane without training. Most brokers out there offer demo account (account with fake money) which you can use to familiarise yourself with this market.

A search on google will give you list of them. Do yourself the favour of learning about this business before hopping in.

Just my 1cent advice.

There is always a risk involve in Forex trading. As what the other posters have said, one must get educated to understand forex. As a forex beginner it is quite difficult to make money currency trading. Finding which forex strategies work can be hard. It is not advisable to spend money on expensive forex courses as it is possible to get all the info you need to be a successful forex trader online for free. Forex trading forums like this one are usually good resources. I would also advise getting a company that does free forex seminars / webinars.
