Help wanted!

I'm really too busy, need some help.

Each week there are winning trades that are sent to subscribers at http://www.dailyforexcharts.com and I'm sure that many traders would like to see them. Unfortunately I don't really have the time to post them here.

I need a couple of traders to diligently post the updates and a brief commentary. In exchange, you can have a complementary subscription to DailyForexCharts, and can attend my seminars etc.

That way, you get to learn some great techniques, while at the same time helping the trading community.

If you'd like to help, send me an email
neal AT dailyforexcharts Dot com
.

Hello Neal--- was a past subsciber.. but

I have been trading professionally for 40 years in futures and fx --
but now have two assistance that have seen your work and like it.

They would like to post your trades and potential trades in a format such as a cheat sheet... market, setup, entry, stop and exit.

They do that for my trading and my bosses trading.. a very big and succesful hedge fund in New York.

If you would like to discuss this assistance please email me at tirone.john@gmail.com.

Thanks again and good luck in this new year.

Sincerely,
John Tirone

I would like to build a collection of educational articles on trading. This will help traders find FibMaster on the internet.

To accomplish this, I will invite some traders to join this moderators forum, and offer those moderators a dailyforexcharts subscription with access to any chat etc.

Description of the project.

There will be a list of topics, mostly the common indicators (MACD, Stoch) and relevant topics (risk control) etc. Each article will be a team effort. We must be sure not to copy content from other websites, to create our own content based on public knowledge.

Please note that each article does not have to be a book! Just 450 words is enough. The purpose is to get the FibMaster websites linked elsewhere on the internet. See here for the concept;
http://ezinearticles.com/?Secrets-of-Traffic-Generation---Article-Marketing&id=1162524

A moderator will comb the internet for useful information and create an educational article on each topic. A second moderator will edit that article, adding more detail as necessary, and clean up the language, looking for clarity and grammar improvement. A third moderator can create/edit charts and add text to the article to reference the charts.

After that I will edit each article again, making final improvements. Then I will publish the article on the internet in several locations, to draw readers to FibMaster.com and DailyForexCharts.com

If anyone has questions or suggestions about the project, or to volunteer for this project, please post a reply to this thread.

Thanks,
-Neal.

Here are some topics for moderators to create articles. Choose a topic that interests you. Then post a message to volunteer. Suggest your own topic if you don't see it below.

1) Money management, risk control.
Start with no risk (demo). It's not the same though.
Then very small risk only.
Only after proven ability, take real risk with serious money.

2) Direction, long or short. Lagging
Trend, you have to decide up or down (Oscillator, MACD/RSI/etc or trend-lines)
Know whether you are right or wrong (trade management)

3) Entry Mix leading & lagging
Fibonacci is the most beneficial

4) Trade management
How is the trade.
Reduce risk, don't wait for stop!
OK to stick with exit plan or need to adjust?

5) Exit
Fibonacci and trend combination

6) Stop-loss
Risk control is vital.

7) Review, optimize, improve.
Be consistent
Track results
Determine what is successful what is not
What can be improved?
Win/Loss ratio. Size of winners and losers.
Keep an eye on survival (risk control)

8) Different trade setups:
Breakout
Channel
Trend
Trading Range

9) Indicators
Average True Range (ATR)
Bollinger Bands
Commodity Channel Index (CCI)
Close Location Value
MACD [THIS ARTICLE IS BEING DEVELOPED ALREADY]
Momentum
Point and Figure
Percentage Price Oscillator
Percentage Volume Oscillator
QQE
Relative Strength Index
RSI
StochRSI
Stochastic Oscillator
Ultimate Oscillator
Williams %R

10) Patterns
Triangles
Double-top
Head and Shoulders
Wedges
Pennants and flags
Rectangles
Cup and handle
Rounding bottom

11) Trading psychology

12) Any other topics are welcome, make a suggestion.

Hi Neal,

I've read you post on collection of articles on trading, I would like to know what is the objectives(besides attracting more readers) as it may need a lot of efforts to do such research project. Few questions:

a. do you think we (traders) are technically competent enough to handle these type of project?
b. we are all FibMaster system traders and why would we want to learn other indicator if TRSI is what we want to use (at least for now)?
c. we are still learning and try to understand/apply any topics that you have listed by reading materials from books/websites/seminars etc, I believe it will be extremely hard for us to write a "GOOD" article on any of these topics with our existing knowledge now. (even we can refer to other materials).
d. Indeed, most of these topics have already covered under your videos such as Fib study, trend determination using TRSI, price action on HH,HL, LL, LH etc. Do you think we can produce something better than what you have taught.
e. there are so many good websites have already published these type of articles such as babypips.com, learningmarket.com, do you think we can produce articles better than them to attract more readers?

Great questions! See below.

a. do you think we (traders) are technically competent enough to handle these type of project?

Yes, the material on these topics is freely available on the internet. Do a quick search on google about Stochastic, you'll be an expert in about 30 minutes..

b. we are all FibMaster system traders and why would we want to learn other indicator if TRSI is what we want to use (at least for now)?

The articles are not for existing FibMaster traders, but for new traders who are clueless. This is really for new traders who have minimal knowledge. The audience is the newbie who is researching on the internet. They will accidentally find the articles and then research FibMaster from there.

c. we are still learning and try to understand/apply any topics that you have listed by reading materials from books/websites/seminars etc, I believe it will be extremely hard for us to write a "GOOD" article on any of these topics with our existing knowledge now. (even we can refer to other materials).

It was really easy for me to create the first article in MACD. I know that I've been trading since my early 20's, so almost 30 years, but I think that most who understand English can read 5 articles on Stochastic and write their own one. It's really easy, just the basics. No need to develop a winning strategy, just explain what Stochastic is..

d. Indeed, most of these topics have already covered under your videos such as Fib study, trend determination using TRSI, price action on HH,HL, LL, LH etc. Do you think we can produce something better than what you have taught.

No, I really doubt it. But that is not the intention.

e. there are so many good websites have already published these type of articles such as babypips.com, learningmarket.com, do you think we can produce articles better than them to attract more readers?

Not better articles, but they do not have to be better. Look at Microsoft products, obviously better is not a requirement. ROFL!
The idea is to be indexed by google, to bring random traffic sometimes.

Some other possible topics:
Trading Psychology
Multiple time frame analysis, trading context, top down approach.

Hi Neal

I'll be willing to volunteer and could the ultimate package be available to your volunteers? I think your idea is sound because there is so much junk out there and having other moderators involved would ensure that accurate info is shared with newbies. My biggest frustration over the years when searching the internet has been inaccurate info and I believe many newbies never make it because they rely on this junk which lead to failure! Obviously any newby has limited trading capital and assisting them to learn through others' experience will help in minimizing losses and ultimately trading success.

Cheers

Yes Lifesong, the info will be available to everyone on the internet.

I agree with everything you say. Good information can be hard to find!

I'll send you email with details.

Thanks, I added "trading psychology" to the list. I think the other one will be a part of the other articles too.

So far we have 10 participants, including myself.

There is room for more, and of course there will be attrition. So if you're willing to help, post a message here.

On completion of all this work, when is the Fibmaster subscribers' afloat trading day (to keep us on topic) and BBQ organised for? :-))))

or to put in more bluntly, in UK terminology - when's the Fibmaster pi** up? :-)))

This is already encompassed within other areas , already suggested, but is the bit that pulls a lot of it together in a structured way. Seems t be a hot topic on here ATM. How about something along the lines of 'The Necessity of a Trading Plan, and Sticking To It to put probability on your side.

Neal,

These articles would look strange in these times if there aren't some links to similar examples, related articles, you tube examples, further reading examples in action and so on. What will be in place to funnel readers to and what will they be funnelled to for further free info and credible enticements? The backus to the written articles. Out of necessity some of these links may not be your web site?
If it is me reading an article and there is no further in depth info, the first thing is to punch the title into google and, if there is more interesting stuff/enticements out there, the original article is soon forgotten.
